Privacy at the table.

The required session holds your case and playing-piece selection, its delivery card, intended home/club/travel use, any explicit checker-to-board assignment and a form-security token. The session cookie is restricted to this host, uses Secure on HTTPS, is HttpOnly and has SameSite=Lax.

With permission, a separate browser record remembers one board-point measurement. Required-only use does not read or write that optional record. Withdrawing the choice removes it, and a stale tab checks the current choice before saving again.

The device-choice and welcome-window cookies are browser-readable preference flags, not HttpOnly session cookies. They contain no payment or delivery details.

A submitted selection record contains the chosen pieces, current total, delivery contact and reference. The card controls have no submitted field names; card credentials are excluded from the recorded selection.

Joining club notes is an affirmative email choice distinct from device preferences. Use support@backgammonrow.shop with a reference if you have a question about a selection record.
